Meet the Maker

I’ve always been happiest with a paintbrush or a drafting pencil in my hand. Years ago, I even dreamed of pursuing fine arts in college. Life led me down a different path, though, and I became a teacher — a role I truly love and one that has shaped so much of who I am today.

 

I’m also a mom of two, and some of my favorite moments are the simple, creative ones spent with my children and family. Whether it’s painting, crafting, or making little messes together at the table, I’ve always looked for meaningful ways to bring creativity and connection into our everyday lives.

 

Through all the lesson plans, classrooms, and busy school days, creativity never left me. The ideas, the colors, and the dream of creating something of my own stayed quietly in my heart for years.

 

Starting TinkerPop Studio is my leap of faith — a way to continue inspiring children and families beyond the classroom while finally bringing those lifelong creative dreams to life. It’s a space built from imagination, joy, and the belief that creativity should feel magical, meaningful, and accessible to everyone.
